

Overview
Having honed his skills at some of the top creative agencies in Dallas, Bruce Wynne-Jones' client work in the retail industry (& others) is extensive. He believes strategic design and big ideas are not only an important craft to perfect, but also the answer to solving marketing challenges in a unique way that builds nurtures, and keeps a brand relevant.
Bruce's goal as a Design Instructor is to bring his real-world knowledge and experiences to the classroom to help students build a foundation of strong design thinking as well as a portfolio of relevant work.
Bruce has supported student education for over 11 years. He is currently an adjunct design instructor at The University of Texas, Arlington. Before that, he taught at the Miami International University of Art & Design and The Art Institute of Dallas for 4.5 years. Some of these classes include conceptual design, typography, beginning, and advanced layout design, corporate identity, package design, multichannel campaigns, interface design, Portfolio 1 & 2, and Capstone. He has also taught Design Communication classes at Texas A&M University-Commerce and has been a guest instructor and speaker at Texas Christian University, Texas Women’s University, and The University of Texas, Arlington.

Bruce has been a Creative Director, Art Director, and Designer in the Advertising, Design, and Digital industries for over 20 years. This has allowed him to be well versed in creative strategy, branding, packaging, identity, web, signage, collateral, display, promotions, POS, video, photo art direction, and client services.

Throughout Bruce's career, he has built, managed, and mentored 10 different creative and web teams of up to 16 people while leading key campaign launches and creative deliverables for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. These teams have included art directors, graphic designers, 3D industrial designers, copywriters, video directors/editors, UI/UX designers, web developers, project managers, and account executives.
